London & Area Hunter/Jumper/Eventing Facility   

Highland Green Stable was established in 1999 by Kim Crawford and Lawlor Brown and has grown into a barn that has riders and horses who are having success at all levels.

Kim Crawford is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and Bachelor of Education 1992/1993. Kim competed as an athlete in equestrian but also in the sport of modern pentathlon. Kim was a national team athlete 1983-1989 with a twelfth place finish at the World Championships. Kim also competed at the national level in fencing and track and field. From her involvement in so many sports during her University career she was named athlete of the year in 1992 and has a wealth of knowledge in dealing with the pressures of competition.

Kim coached the national team for modern pentathlon from 1996-1999, traveling to many different countries, and completed her term with coaching the Pan American team where Kara Grant received a bronze medal.

Today Kim trains horses and coaches many riders at all levels to meet their desired goals whether it be as hunters, jumpers, or eventors. She also continues to show competitively and has been very successful eventing her 10 year old KWPN imported Dutch warmblood gelding, Robjnhood.

Lawlor is originally from North York. He came to London in 1978 to attend UWO. He received a Bachelors in Kinesiology and History as well as a Bachelor of Education from Althouse College.

Lawlor is a level 3 certified rowing coach with 25 years of experience at the high school, University, and provincial levels. He currently teaches at London Central Secondary School.

Lawlor started riding in 1993 and competed in the hunter and jumper ring before switching to eventing in 1998. He has most recently been competing on his 11 year old Trakehner/Thoroughbred, Shiraz. As well as riding Lawlor enjoys cross country course designing and building.
